Kareena Kapoor Khan & Saif Ali Khan Welcome A Baby Boy

href=”author/shubanka-sridhar”>Shubanka Sridhar , 21 Feb 2021Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan & Saif Ali Khan have become parents for the second time around to a lovely baby boy! Friends and family of the couple took to their social media to announce the news and congratulate the Nawab and Begum.

Bebo and Saif announced last year that they were all set to welcome their second child. Given Kareena and Saif’s first child, Taimur Ali Khan, is a favourite among everyone, it sure left us all excited to know that he is set to have a younger sibling very soon. The lockdown proved to be a boon for the couple as they could spend almost the entire time during the pregnancy at home, together with their son. Saif also shared that he will be home for a month now so he can stay by Kareena and their newborn’s side. He will then leave for the shoot of Om Raut‘s magnum-opus, Adipurush, opposite Prabhas.

The lovely mumma, Bebo, was glowing during her pregnancy and like the first time around, set some amazing maternity style goals with her easy-breezy and casual outfits. But, being the powerhouse professional she is, Kareena continued to do brand shoots and interviews throughout her pregnancy and kept busy during this time, looking all the more confident and easy-going about the whole thing. Having experienced it the first time with Taimur probably made it easier for them to deal with the second pregnancy.

Speaking about the name of the child, Kareeena mentioned earlier that Saif and her have left the naming of their child to the very end and will “spring a surprise”! Now, with the baby here, we sure cannot wait for the surprise very soon!

Congratulations to the Begum and Nawab, and lil’ baby bro Tim Tim on the arrival of their bundle of joy!

Kunal Kemmu Recalls When Inaaya And Taimur’s Experience With A Paprazzi Got ‘Dangerous’

href=”author/avya-sharma”>Avya Sharma , 21 Jan 2021Kunal Kemmu (Source: Instagram | @khemster2)

Taimur Ali Khan, the son of actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, and his cousin Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, the daughter of actors Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan tops the list of the most photographed kids in Bollywood. While the adorable duo has gotten used to the spotlight, there have been times when it has gone a little menacing.

In conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her show What Women Want, Kunal Khemu opens up his view on Taimur and Inaaya’s experience with paparazzi. While he admits that constant paparazzi is today’s reality, he does not believe in having their children shy away from it. He also says that he is happy that the paparazzi have been quite respectful of their requests so far. However, he goes on to recall a dangerous incident when Taimur and Inaaya were in a swimming pool, and someone tried to capture their footage using a zoom lens from a distance. Kunal goes on to admit that “That I am completely against. That is NOT okay.” and believes that the parents need to be highly aware of such situations.

On the professional front, Kunal was last seen in Lootcase. Helmed by Rajesh Krishnan, it also starred Rasika Dugal, Gajeraj Rao, Vijay Raaz and Ranvir Shorey among others.

A Peek At Sara Ali Khan’s Ethereal Lehenga Collection

href=”author/sakshi-kore”>Sakshi Kore , 24 Jul 2020Sara Ali Khan | (Source: Instagram | @lakshmilehr, @saraalikhan95)

Sara Ali Khan‘s quirkiness and joyous personality translate rightly into her fashion choices. The starlet who made her debut with Kedarnath alongside the late Sushant Singh Rajput has since been making it to the headlines for not only being related to the sensational Taimur Ali Khan (haha, jokes aside!) and her acting chops, but also for her fashion-forward personality. From sporting off-beat prints and silhouettes with ease to rocking the desi girl look with her envy-inducing Indian-wear to sporting statement-making gowns, Sara effortlessly oscillates between a plethora of styles.

However, the actor is undeniably partial towards traditional clothing. She has quite the discerning eye for Indian-wear. Think sharara sets, ghararas, anarkalis to basic kurta-pyjamas and more. But her love for Indian-wear doesn’t end there. Sara has an assortment of show-stopping lehenga sets in her traditional kitty—both, conventional and unconventional—that deserve special attention. Her go-to designer-duo for lehengas are Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and her go-to style, well, isn’t a particular one except for the fact that they’re all standout pieces! Don’t go by my word, scroll ahead and look for yourself!

8 lehengas we’d like to steal from Sara Ali Khan’s wardrobe:1. In Mayyur Girotra

During a promotional round for Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aryan, Sara opted for this gorgeous lehenga set by designer Mayyur Girotra. The multi-hued separates comprised a red bralette that featured Patola motifs and a chevron-patterned lehenga that came in colours like red, aqua, pink and navy. The look was completed with a floor-grazing jacket that featured a thick, navy blue border with Patola weaves. A vibrant lesson on how to clash prints and colours!

2. In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

Dressed head-to-toe in pistachio-hued couture, Sara shows us how to include unconventional colours into our traditional wardrobe. The blouse was adorned with tonal, bugle beads and crystals, while the tulle lehenga featured resham embroidery in white. Subtle yet impactful!

3. In Anushree Reddy

Needless to say why this lehenga makes for a show-stopping number but this outfit by Anushree Reddy is what dreams are made of! The striking red hue of the lehenga set is the show-stealer and the self-toned thread-work and patterns add a touch of glamour to it. The tulle border and the scalloped hem of the lehenga accentuate it beautifully!

For the cover of Hello magazine, the star posed in a black lehenga by her favourite designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The one-of-a-kind, jet black, gola blouse came in a diaphanous, 3D silhouette that was teamed with a black lehenga. The lehenga featured embroidered, gota crescents in circular patterns.

5. In Sabyasachi

By now, you know that Sara doesn’t settle on anything that won’t turn heads as she walks into a room. And this dreamy Sabyasachi number rightly puts her on a sartorial pedestal! The fully-sequined blouse and dupatta have my full attention, but the multicoloured floral embroidery on the skirt is equally a sartorial treat to the eyes!

6. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

The unofficial ambassador of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla stunned in another one of their creations when she first started her promotional journey for Kedarnath. The v-neck blouse exposing her toned midriff came with 3D, appliqué florals, stitched onto a netted fabric. The blooms were dipped in pastel shades like white, blush pink, muted blue and powder yellow. For the blouse to be the focal point of the outfit, she teamed it with a plain, pristine white lehenga, which unavoidably also became a statement-making number!

7. In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

Nothing like a lehenga that comes in classic Indian colours like gold! Back in 2018 when Sara was busy promoting Kedarnath, she was on a spree of opting for Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla couture. This one was bedazzled with a design of intertwined strings in the label’s signature gota work.

8. In Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla

The actress really does prioritise versatility in all her clothes. Even lehengas. Around this time, she kept things simple with the blouse—a deep, round neck, sheen silver number that she wore with an extravagant, embellished lehenga. As if the embellishments weren’t enough, the lehenga served as a canvas for embroidery in foliage motifs, as well. The colours used for the same were navy blue, aqua and green that added a burst of colour to the otherwise monochromatic outfit!

Safe to say, Sara doesn’t like to play it safe when it comes to ethnic silhouettes. Grandeur and flamboyance are two elements that she always swears by when it comes to lehengas! On that note, what do you think of the actor’s lehenga collection? Tell me in the comments below!

‘Learnt Not To Run After Money, Success Or Fame From Saif’ — Kareena Kapoor Khan

href=”author/shubanka-sridhar”>Shubanka Sridhar , 28 May 2020

Kareena Kapoor Khan (Source: Yogen Shah)

Kareena Kapoor Khan recently completed 20 years in the film industry. and was on BBC Asian Network where she was talking about her journey until now. In 2012, she got married to Saif Ali Khan. Talking about their relationship, she states she has learnt a lot from him in all these years.

She says:

The best thing I’ve learned from Saif is being comfortable with myself and not always be running after money, success, fame. He’s taught me to love the greater things in life, that there’s something greater than money, fame and success, which I probably didn’t know — like family, love, calmness, peace of mind, or reading a book, or sitting and having a conversation not about work and competition.

Bebo goes on to say that she hopes to be an inspiration to other younger lot of actors to make choices that balance both career and family. And boy has she been a pro at it! With being a super cool mommy to our favourite, Taimur Ali Khan. She also talks about how it’s important to be competing with themselves and not among themselves.

She also spoke about how she didn’t want to take the same route as actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone by venturing in Hollywood. She exclaims, “I can be good in a Hindi movie also.” Talking about where she sees herself in the next 20 years, she says she wants to settle down in London as it’s her favourite city.
